Hybrid ArtNight Fall 2021
The California Art Club is proud to, once again, be an ArtNight Partner. Our Fall 2021 presentation focuses on “plein air” painting – the act of painting outdoors – since the artists who founded our organization more than a century ago inspired the California Plein Air Movement.
This demonstration by CAC President Michael Obermeyer provides insights on techniques used by landscape painters, who need to work quickly as they create new works on location. He also shares tips for enhancing the imagery with dramatic atmospheric effects.
