California Art Club and the Arroyo Seco Foundation are sponsoring a unique event on Saturday, March 18 at Hahamongna Watershed Park in Pasadena, CA. Artists are invited to participate in a paint/sculpt-out at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains to capture the picturesque nature and unique charm of Hahamongna in the Arroyo Seco.

The event will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, meeting at the eastern parking lot of Hahamongna. Google Maps Link

California Art Club artists are welcome to paint and sculpt along the trails in the park to create masterworks of the Arroyo and culminates in an exhibition planned for October 2023 at the Pasadena Museum of History.

Club will provide extra easels, tables, chairs, paper and other art materials for families and kids to paint the arroyo and the beautiful Hahamongna Watershed Park. This program will be in conjunction with a Hahamongna Walkabout where participants can take a guided walking tour of Hahamongna, stopping at strategically placed learning stations to learn about recreation, habitat, wildlife, birds and water resources in this unique basin at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains.
