California Art Club’s Orange County Chapter invites members of four plein air painting societies (CAC, LPAPA, SoCalPAPA and San Clemente Art Association) to paint/sculpt seaside at San Clemente State Park and Beach in San Clemente, California.

The park offers a variety of subject matter, natural and architectural, for creative study. The terrain is varied and the park is multi-faceted, including blufftop views, coastal trails, seascapes from several vantage points, an historic cottage, groves of eucalyptus trees, and figure studies on the beach.

Restrooms are readily available, with ample parking, and easy access to views with or without hiking. Bring your lunch to enjoy in the Park. Dogs are not permitted on the beach or trails.

Historic exhibits are available for viewing in the Cottage. A group exhibition of work produced during the event will be presented at the close for those choosing to participate.
