[NEW DATE] Paint/Sculpt-out at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park
Saturday, June 1 at 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join the Greater Sacramento Sierra Chapter for a paint/sculpt-out at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
This paint/sculpt-out location is adjacent to the American River in the historic town of Coloma where the California gold rush started. The site has historic churches, post office, Chinese store, and other gold rush era buildings; majestic trees, river vistas, and high rolling hills.
The state park charges $10 for parking ($9 for seniors)
Our sign-in table will be next to the Sawmill Parking Lot. Look for the California Art Club sign.
We will gather after painting at the outdoor tables behind the Argonaunt Farm Cafe for a no-host lunch. Food may be purchased from the Argonaunt Cafe or bring your own lunch. This will be a time to share our paintings and visit with each other.
