Lavender Retreat

Located in picturesque Cherry Valley, the Highland Springs Resort is the ideal location for our summer Lavender Retreat. Many artists have dreamt of traveling to the famed lavender fields and olive groves in the South of France. However, adjacent to nearby Beaumont, along Route 10 toward Palm Springs, can be found the famed Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley. Created in the 1920s as a hideaway for the Hollywood elite, the resort remains beautifully maintained. The grounds are encircled by three, football field sized plantings of lavender, which are ringed by olive groves and a landmark thousand-year-old oak tree, all against a backdrop of nearby mountain ridges!

Guests are welcome to join us for:
- Orientation tour of the Highland Springs Resort lead by Chuck Kovacic.
- Movie Night featuring the film, Loving Vincent (2017)
- Daily Paint/Sculpt-Outs
- Nocturne Paint-Out
- Farewell Paint/Sculpt-Out followed by a Grand Critique from our guest artists.
Guest artists will include:
Peter Adams, Karl Dempwolf (Oil/Pastel), Chuck Kovacic (Water-based oil), Eric Merrell (Oil), Anette Power (Oil), and Brenda Swenson (Watercolor).

Travel Information: The Highland Springs Resort is located 42 miles from the Ontario International Airport in Ontario, CA.
Cancellation Policy:
Reservations may be cancelled up to Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
After June 12, cancellations cannot be refunded.
