Due to the closure of Casa Romantica Cultural Center, the Orange County Chapter would like to invite you to a Paint/Sculpt-Out on Sunday, May 7 to paint/sculpt in Lantern Bay Park.

Artists will be painting and sculpting on the grounds of Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point. Costumed models in 1930’s garb will be provided by the San Clemente Historical Society for the artists to work from, and two vintage cars will be parked nearby as subjects for artworks.

Event organizers have invited CAC’s Signature membership for the day, highly-skilled artists all with national exhibition experience, along with artist-members and students to paint. Come see how paintings are created outdoors!

We recommend that artists bring a lunch, as there are picnic tables in shade and a grove of trees in the park!

Parking at the park is free. In the event that the lot is full, Doheny State Park is just across the street. Parking is $15 for the day, with a short walk across the street and up the hill to the CAC site in Lantern Bay Park. Artists also could paint in the State Park, just a couple hundred yards away from the group painting site.
