Harmony Paint/Sculpt-Out
Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
FreeThe Central Coast Chapter invites you to participate in a paint/sculpt-out in the town of Harmony on Saturday, November 19, from 10am-2pm.
Background
“A perennial fixture of California’s Central Coast, Harmony calls upon its rich heritage and colorful past to provide a quirky and charming homestead for lively arts, culture and ice cream.” Founded in 1869, this tiny 2.5-acre town served as the capital of Central Coast dairy production for almost half a century. After the closure of the local creamery, Harmony became a quaint, artistic destination featuring Harmony Glass Works, Harmony Pottery Shop artisan galleries, and its infamous scoop truck.
Features
Harmony features a small collection of picturesque old rural buildings and farms that beg to be painted. Artists will meet on the Main Street of the town at 10am to paint the rustic buildings and landscape Harmony has to offer. Due to the fact that the town is one of the smallest in the state of California, averaging a population less than 20 people, parking may be limited. We recommend planning ahead to compensate for this.
