The mission of this competition is to encourage artists to develop and refine their classical art skills and spotlight their mastery by providing a new platform for showcasing contemporary-traditional works of art.

We ask artists to represent Awakening the Earth via contemporary-traditional methods. Any genre of work will be eligible for consideration.

This exhibition celebrates the resurgence of life in the natural world, depicting the thawing earth, running streams and newly green trees. The artwork highlights the rejuvenation of the earth and its ecosystem, symbolizing hope and renewal.

Examples:
Artworks could feature figures immersed in nature, with soft lighting and surrounded by budding trees. Landscapes could capture the early moments of spring. Still lifes can feature citurs and early spring fruits. Seascapes can depict coastal scenes showing the ocean’s subtle transformation in spring, with calm waters reflecting soft light. It’s all up to your creative imagination!

We kindly request that artists submit works created in the last three years.
