Greetings Friend!

A big “Thank You” to artists and patrons alike who helped make our 110th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition so successful. We are looking forward to returning to the Hilbert Museum of California Art for next year’s Gold Medal Exhibition and will let you know of the dates as soon as they are finalized.

As a follow-up to our busy August, which included not only the Gold Medal Exhibition, but also the closing event for On Location in Malibu and our sponsorship of the First Pastel Live, we will have more engaging events and exhibitions in the coming months, including:

• A Plein Air Event at Mount Wilson Observatory – organized by the Los Angeles and new “Cosmic” Chapters
• The Empire and Desert’s Best – the first virtual exhibition presented jointly by the Inland Empire and Palm Springs Chapters
• Coastal California – the unveiling of the first new exhibition at The Old Mill since the pandemic began
• And much, much more!

On a final note, our Annual Artist Member Jurying will take place later in the fall. I encourage all Associate Artist Members to create their best work and apply.
