Inspired by the beauty and scenic diversity of Malibu, this exhibition is the eighth in a triennial series organized since 1999 by the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art. The works of art are available for acquisition, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the California Art Club and the Weisman Museum of Art.
Due to Covid-19 guidelines, entry to the exhibition is limited and requires reservations for timed entry.

A warm winters day at the beach inspired this intimate look at a family enjoying the last rays of light. The glare of the setting sun reflects off the water and distorts the outline of the young boy on the left. I captured the setting sun when the light was golden and infused its glow on everything. The reflections on the water were blinding. The kinetic energy of the boy, still for only a moment, mirror the peace of the late afternoon.
