admission to all CAC Meetings.


The Hollyhock House at Barnsdall Park in Los Angeles, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Aline Barnsdall. She leased it to the CAC to use for club headquarters for 15 years, 1927-1942. The CAC used Hollyhock House for meetings, exhibitions, parties, dances and more.

The 1940s was an exciting and turbulent period for the California Art Club. Join CAC Historian Eric Merrell as he talks about changes within the Club as well as how they fit into the larger picture of modern art in Los Angeles and the onset of World War II.
