We are now accepting submissions for the next CAC Critique Session! By popular demand, we've decided to hold this "annual" event twice a year, and the Winter Critique is scheduled for Sunday, January 11.
Images of paintings and sculpture submitted anonymously by CAC members will be projected onto a large screen for review and constructive criticism by a panel of award-winning artists.
Whether you're an artist, collector, or just an interested observer, this is a great opportunity to hear from a panel of master artists, and to gain new insight into and appreciation for the elements that go into creating fine works of art.
To submit your work for the critique:
All current CAC members are invited to submit work. Please email one digital image file in jpeg format to cac@californiaartclub.org. Jpeg images should be 4" x 6", 300 dpi, and no larger than 3 MB. Please be sure to use "Critique Session" in the subject line of your email.
All entries must be received no later than Wednesday, January 7, 2009, but please submit your work early! Space is limited to 40 participants, and submissions will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit only one artwork for critique. If submitting sculpture, please send multiple views.
Time: 12:00 Noon - 3:00 p.m.
Admission: $5 CAC Members/$10 Non-members. Museum admission is available for the group rate of $5.50 with advance reservation to CAC.
